How I work

Great design and art direction never happen in a vacuum, which is why I develop ideas by working closely with the client to realise strategic marketing objectives. If you do not know what your clients’ wants and needs are, you cannot provide them with the best-possible solution. Collaboration is key to finding the right answers in terms of creativity and production.

Part of this is using the right technology for the job. I use Adobe Master Suite CS5 across a Mac Pro and a PowerBook Pro, and handwrite standards-compliant HTML, CSS and Javascript with Coda. When it comes to building Web-based applications, I turn to the Codeigniter framework for rapid PHP development – it's rock solid and fast.

Experience tells – in my case 16 years’ industry experience across all levels, including developing Flash projects with Actionscript since 1999.
