Logo Design for Insomnia Films

We were approached by film maker and drama director Emma Bodger (Boys Don’t Cry, Dead Drunk, Joint Venture) to develop ideas for the branding of her production company, Insomnia Films. The company has a slightly edgy feel, whilst remaining non genre specific.

Emma’s concept for Insomnia is that of excitement and wonder. Through a telephone briefing we discussed the sleepless nights we experience as creatives through the exploration of ideas generated by asking the question, if?

The logo developed through three series of creative, producing close to 30 designs, and maybe 60 executions. We are looking forward to developing the brand further when we art direct and develop the Insomnia Films web site.
